Walker Earns NESCAC Player of the Week Honors

5/9/05 - <?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Middlebury College women's lacrosse player Kim Walker (Ridgewood, N.J.) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week. The sophomore helped lead the Panthers to their fifth consecutive NESCAC Championship last weekend.

Walker continued to be steady for Middlebury at the NESCAC Championship, as she has been all season long. The junior scored four goals over the two Panther wins, including three in the semifinal victory over Williams. She also had three ground balls, three draw controls and three caused turnovers to go along with her 11 shots.  She currently leads the team with 40 goals on the season.
