Middlebury extended its winning streak to nine games with a 16-2 victory at Connecticut College on Sunday afternoon. Amanda Smith tallied three goals and two assists to lead the Panthers. Katherine Entwisle had a hat-trick with three scores for the visitors. Liza Humes contributed with two goals and two assists for the Panthers.

Connecticut College juniors Lindsey Coit and Sarah Miner tallied free-position goals in the NESCAC contest. Rookie net-minder Jenna Ross stopped 22 shots for the Camels.

The Panthers put this game away early, scoring six unanswered goals over the final 15:54 of the first half to take a 10-1 lead. Mimi Schatz and Entwisle netted two goals apiece to key the offensive rally.

The Panthers added six more in the second stanza to close out the 16-2 victory. Bowie had five saves in net for the Panthers, while Whitney Wildrick had three saves in relief duty for Middlebury.
