Describe your initial reaction upon seeing the campus and athletic facilities for the first time.

When I first stepped on the Middlebury campus I was in awe. It was the fall of my freshman year in high school and at that moment I knew Middlebury was where I wanted to be. We are also fortunate to play on Peter Kohn field where we are surrounded by beautiful mountains and amazing facilities.

What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?

The one thing that makes Middlebury special for me is the sense of tradition that is instilled in each player from the moment they join the team. From connecting with alums to conditioning runs to what song comes first on the warm-up mix, everyone is part of the Middlebury tradition.

What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?

My best memory at Middlebury would have to be our win against The College of New Jersey my junior year when we came from being down by five goals to beat them in the last 10 seconds. We had lost to them in NCAAs the previous two years so it was such sweet revenge! Everyone contributed in that game and the feeling at the end was unbelievable. I also love our game-day tradition of walking out to the field in two silent lines

What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?

I have learned the importance of hard work as well as working as a team. It is rare to find a group of people that are as focused and determined to work towards a common goal, as Middlebury athletes are. I believe that our teams have been so successful because everyone contributes in their own way, whether they are on the sidelines, or they play every minute.
