Hinman Joins Women's Lacrosse Staff

Former Trinity College women’s lacrosse All-American Mallory Hinman has joined the coaching staff at Middlebury College. The Longmeadow, Massachusetts native graduated in the spring of ’13, majoring in biology.

Hinman was a four-year member of the team at Trinity, spending most of her time as a part of the Bantam defense. As a captain her senior year, Hinman started all 22 games anchoring a Trinity team that posted a 21-1 record falling to Salisbury in the national title game. She collected 35 ground balls and 27 caused turnovers on her way to first-team All-American accolades. As a junior, Hinman was a critical part of the defense propelling the Bantams to the Division III national title. She was selected as a second-team All-NESCAC honoree following her junior and senior seasons helping Trinity to win three-consecutive NESCAC titles.

For her work on and off the field, Hinman was selected as Trinity’s Robert R. Bartlett Award female recipient. This award is given to the male and female student-athletes who have combined excellence in athletics and devotion to community and/or campus service.

Hinman has notched some prior coaching experience including an Elite 180 camp and a Game Breaker camp. She has also been a coach for a club lacrosse program.

Prior to her arrival at Trinity, Hinman was a three-sport standout at Longmeadow High School in Massachusetts.
