Women's Soccer Wins At Norwich, 5-0

9/14/05 - Middlebury out shot Norwich 34-2 on the day and shutout the Cadets, 5-0 in their first road game of the season. The Panthers scored four goals in the first half, two from Erin Oliver and two from Erin Pittenger.

Oliver scored her first goal nearly four minutes into the contest with an assist from Kim Kennedy. Oliver then scored an unassisted goal 10 minutes later. In the 28th minute, Pittenger teamed up with Ainsley Close for a 3-0 lead. Pittinger scored her second goal with about 10 minutes left in the first half with Elizabeth Romney assisting.

Ashley Pfaff provided the only score of the second half as Lindsay Rotherham registered an assist in the 62nd minute.

Middlebury goalie Adele Plunkett logged one save in the shutout.
