Describe your initial reaction upon seeing the campus and athletic facilities for the first time.

The Middlebury athletic facilities are unparalleled. Every time I set foot on Dragone Field I am amazed at the simple beauty of the pitch set against the amazing Green Mountains. Middlebury offers student athletes the very best on and off the fields.

What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?

Middlebury is a special place for so many reasons, but the people really set the school apart. The differences between Middlebury students create a dynamic that has pushed me to excel in new and sometimes uncomfortable realms. Each individual is incredibly talented yet extremely open and humble.

What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?

While our win against Amherst in the waning minutes of the NESCAC title game last year initially comes to mind, my strongest and fondest memories are the small interactions between my teammates and I over the past four years. These individuals have picked me up from my lows and have raised me to new highs on and off the field.

What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?

While I have played soccer my entire life, I have only begun to understand the meaning and power of a team. I entered Middlebury striving to achieve individual goals and over the past four years have learned how to fully give myself to the team. I have learned to lead and follow and how to integrate my own wants and needs into those of the team.
