Kirk Honored For Second Straight Week

Middlebury College women’s soccer player Scarlett Kirk (San Francisco, Calif.) has been named NESCAC Player of the Week for the second straight time. Kirk continued her torrid pace with five goals in a 3-0 week for the Panthers. She opened with a pair of goals in a non-league win at Keene State on Wednesday night. Kirk scored both goals, including the game-winner in overtime in a 2-1 win over Wesleyan on Saturday. Only playing in the second half on Sunday, Kirk netted the game-winner in a 2-1 win over Connecticut College. She now leads the team and NESCAC with 11 goals and 22 points in eight games.
