Foody Earns NESCAC Player Of The Week Honors

Middlebury College women’s soccer player Elizabeth Foody (Ottawa, Ont.) has been named the NESCAC Player of the Week. Foody allowed no goals in almost 300 minutes of action in a 2-0-1 week for ninth-ranked Middlebury. She opened the week with five saves in an overtime win at Plattsburgh before coming home to remain unbeaten in a pair of NESCAC contests. After making five saves in a shutout win over Bowdoin on Saturday, she made nine on Sunday vs. Amherst, including some key second half stops in the scoreless tie. Foody has not allowed a goal in all 569:51 this season, with 28 saves.
