Describe your initial reaction upon seeing the campus and athletic facilities for the first time.

I remember being struck by the beauty of the campus and the energy of? the students. My thought was, here is a place where I'd really fit in and would love to be.

What is the one thing that makes Middlebury College a special place for you?

I am always impressed with the enthusiasm of the student body and the close relationships we are able to establish with friends, professors, and coaches.

What is your best memory as a player at Middlebury College?

During my freshman year, our away match against Amherst was an exciting and unexpected win for us. With my brother on the opposing men's team at the time, I wanted to beat them more than anything. I knew how strong the women had? been and that we'd never been able to beat them before. When we won, we made Dave Saward, our coach at the time, very happy!

What have you learned from your sport that you will use in your everyday life?

Conditions change so I've focused more and more on the importance of staying positive and steady, no matter what situation I am faced with.
