Women's Squash Wins Three Of Four

The Panther women's squash team earned a 3-1 mark over the weekend at the Yale Round Robin Tournament. Middlebury defeated Colby 8-1 on Friday, before falling in a tightly-contested 6-3 match with #13 Bowdoin. Junior Liz McMorris (New York, N.Y.) lost just three points the entire weekend at #7, earning a 4-0 mark.
Middlebury continued to draw strength from the bottom of the line-up, as players 7-9 earned impressive point totals of 81-4 vs. Bowdoin, 81-5 against Connecticut College, 81-13 against Colby, while also dominating vs. George Washington. Senior Sally Hatfield (Barrington, R.I.) went 3-1 on the weekend at #1 singles, defeating top players from Colby, George Washington and Conn College.
