Women's Squash Finishes 13th Nationally

The Middlebury women’s squash team finished its season ranked 13th nationally, ending with an 18-6 record. At team nationals hosted by Princeton, the Panthers opened with a 6-3 loss to Mt. Holyoke in the Kurtz Cup (B Division). Middlebury bounced back in the back-draw, earning a 6-3 win over Columbia and an 8-1 victory over Amherst. The team’s only senior, Virginia Shannon (Hanover, N.H.), finished the season at 13-10 overall, playing in the #1 and #2 slot for the Panthers for the most of her career. She ends her four years with an overall record of 50-46.
