Women's Tennis Advances To Regional Final

5/7/05 - Middlebury advanced to the NCAA regional final with a 5-0 win over Vassar. The Panthers will take on the winner of the Bowdoin/Williams match played later today. The regional final is set for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. The winner advances to the NCAA Quarterfinals on May 18-20th at <?xml:namespace prefix = "st1" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Kalamazoo College in Michigan.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Middlebury got off to a great start as they picked up three points with wins in all three doubles contests. In singles play, Claire Smyser and Emily Holick cruised to 6-0, 6-1 wins to secure the 5-0 win for the Panthers.
