Women's Tennis Comeback Beats Bowdoin

The Middlebury College women's tennis team won its only match of the week as they picked up a 5-4 win at #23 Bowdoin. The ninth-ranked Panthers fell behind 3-0 after doubles play and then trailed 4-1 before coming back to win the match.
Junior Amy Roche (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) was a straight-set winner, before junior Emily Holick (Sudbury, Mass.) came from a set down to pick up a victory. Sophomore Amy Berkman (Shelburne, Vt.) won in three sets, while first-year players Elizabeth Stone (Cohasset, Mass.) and Clare Burke (Summit, N.J.) both won in two.
