Middlebury won two of three doubles matches but had no luck in singles play, dropping a 7-2 match at fifth-ranked Tufts (12-3, 5-1 NESCAC) on Friday. The Panthers (8-3, 4-2), ranked 10th nationally, return to action next weekend when they host Skidmore and Amherst.

In doubles play, the #3 pair of junior Sally Wilkey and first year Dorrie Paradies were big 8-3 winners. In the #1 slot, Brittany Faber and Leah Kepping earned an 8-6 victory.
