Three Women's Tennis Players Headed To NCAA's

Three members of the Middlebury College women’s tennis team will represent the squad at the NCAA Individual/Doubles Championships from May 26-28. Matches will take place at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center and Pauley Tennis Complex in Claremont, California. Claremont and Pomona-Pitzer will serve as the host schools.

Junior Victoria Aiello (Milton, Mass.) makes her second trip to the NCAA’s, after going 1-1 in ’09, advancing to the round of 16. She owns an 8-6 mark in singles play this season, playing in the #1 slot for the entire season. Aiello is ranked sixth in the region. She is a two-time All-American and three-time All-NESCAC selection, winning NESCAC Rookie of the Year honors in ’09.

Sophomores Brittney Faber (Minnetonka, Minn.) and Leah Kepping (Northport, N.Y.) will participate in doubles play. The duo earned first-team All-NESCAC honors this spring for the Panthers boasting a 26-7 record this season. The duo are ranked second in the region.
