October 12, 2012

Middlebury's Lok-Sze Leung is one win away from repeating as the Division III ITA singles champion. The sophomore is competing at the USTA/ITA National Small College Championships at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama.

In her first-round match-up on Thursday, Leung defeated Ava Sadeghi of Vassar, 6-2, 6-0. Friday, Leung advanced to the championship match with a 6-3, 6-1 over Brittni Fausett of Mary-Hardin Baylor. She will face Gabrielle Clark of Emory in the finals on Saturday, in a rematch of last year's deciding match. Leung also defeated Clark last April before Clark topped Leung in the NCAA title match in May.
