Now in his second season with the Panthers, Szentesy returns to the staff to work with the linebackers after coaching the tight ends a year ago. He spent the previous two seasons at Alfred University in New York, where he coached four all-league players.

Following graduation from Hobart in ’04, Szentesy began his coaching career with one season at his former high school in Lackawanna, N.Y. He then joined the staff at Hamilton College for a year, working with the linebackers.

Prior to his arrival at Middlebury, he earned his master’s degree while coaching the linebackers at Alfred.

While at Hobart, he was a three-year starter and three-year All-Liberty League selection. He also led the team in tackles for three seasons. His teams saw the post-season in each of his four seasons, including a pair of NCAA Tournament bids.
