Leadership Programs
Leadership Dialogues
This multi-part program, held during throughout the year, is designed to help students continue to develop as leaders while increasing their awareness of local, state, national, and global issues. Presenters have represented both the Middlebury College community and beyond.
Emerging Leaders
It is the belief of the Emerging Leaders Program that each individual has leadership abilities waiting to be discovered. Given the right kind of information, skill-building opportunities, structured reflection and feedback, we can enhance our own leadership effectiveness. No previous experience is required to participate in the ELP. The program is open to all students with a preference given to First-year students and new Febs. Students are nominated for this program by faculty or student affairs staff members and must complete an application for selection.
The Emergiing Leader Program is a four-part, non-credit course designed to help students develop their leadership skills by identifying their personal leadership style, working with others in a group, and developing a greater understanding of leadership concepts.
