The McCullough Student Center was established in 1991 to serve the students, faculty and guests of the College, including Middlebury community members, by providing events, programming space, meeting space, information, food service, and a relaxing, interesting environment at all times.
McCullough houses The Grille, Juice Bar, Game Room, Cyber Space, TV Theater, Billiards, Panther's Pride Spirit Shop, Central Box Office, Social Hall, Mitchell Green Lounge, MiddExress Convenience Store, and the Student Mail Room. Also located in the Center are the offices of the Alliance for Civic Engagement, Student Employment, Center for Campus Activities and Leadership, and the Student Government Association.
With all its varied services, the McCullough Student Center remains largely program oriented. Four full-time staff members work in cooperation with the Middlebury College Activities Board, the InterCommons Council, and other student organizations to plan, coordinate, and execute year-round entertainment, cultural, recreational, and educational programs that range from the African American Alliance to WRMC radio station.
