Astronomical Society: The Middlebury College Astronomical Society is more than just stargazing. We take full advantage of Middlebury's 6.2-magnitude skies by enabling and promoting the observation of astronomical objects with the naked eye and other optical devices. Parliamentary Debate Society: This organization normally competes on the American Parliamentary Debate Association (APDA) circuit, although some members compete internationally. Little or no research is required for this style (only an ability to think quickly). Parliamentary Debate has hosted debates on campus on various issues, in addition to a large annual tournament, which attracts about 40 teams from across the nation. The Parliamentary team seeks both eager novices and seasoned veterans interested in developing their abilities in logical analysis and rhetoric.

Midd on the Globe: Midd On The Globe is a student organization that teaches foreign languages not currently taught at Middlebury College. Middlebury students who are native speakers of these languages teach their peers and in return gain an invaluable experience.

Model United Nations (MCMUN): The Model United Nations provides a forum with which to discuss and critically analyze international affairs. Through participation in multiple off-campus conferences, the MUN allows students to practice their rhetoric skills, meet students from other Colleges with similar interests and to investigate international issues from non-American perspectives. All interested students are welcome, and no experience is necessary.

Pre-Medical Society: The Pre-Medical Society is committed to creating a sense of community among premedical students and to increasing awareness about the current issues facing the field of medicine. In order to accomplish these goals, the Pre-Medical Society provides a mentoring program between upper-class and under-class premedical students, invites guest lecturers to speak, and hosts social functions. Additionally, the Pre-Medical Society helps guide premedical students through the process by providing advice for finding internships and volunteer opportunities, as well as for applying to medical school.

Psychology Club: The purpose of the Psych club is to provide an intellectual and social atmosphere in which to discuss issues pertaining to psychology. This organization hope to strengthen the presence of Psychology on the Middlebury campus by sponsoring guest lectures and psychology related films. We support student initiatives to attend Psychology conferences and create a setting where students can present their research. Lastly, the Psych club provides programs and information concerning graduate schools are careers in psychology.
