Aikido: The Middlebury Aikido Club allows college students to meet and practice Aikido. We go both to formal training at Blue Heron Aikido as well as starting club practice this year. This training is both in the physical forms of Aikido but also philosophy behind the practice. Aikido is a defensive martial art that focuses on finding a resolution to a conflict without either party being injured. In practice we connect to the energy of the attacker and use that energy to resolve the conflict while still caring for our training partner. Aikido_Constitution
