Climbing Wall:  Located at the Nelson Receation Center, the College climbing wall is an active space used by the whole College community.  This organization, under advising from the Athletics Department and Middlebury Outdoor Programs, helps to direct the College's on campus climbing program.

Crew: Combining a love of water and athletics this organization is for students big and small. Regattas are in the Spring and Fall and everyone is encouraged to sign up, even if one has no experience: there are men's and women's teams as well as Varsity and Novice.

Cricket Club : The goal of this club is to promote cricket, a highly-popular sport in other parts of the world. The club organizes and participates in tournaments with other colleges and clubs.

Cycling Club:  The Middlebury College Cycling Club is a group of road, mountain and recreational bikers who sponsor group rides and club events, as well as a full collegiate racing schedule. The collegiate mountain bike season is in the fall, while the road season is in the spring. Everyone is encouraged to come out and ride with us.

Equestrian Club: A member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, this club is for Middlebury students who enjoy riding. Any student who is interested in and would like to learn more about horses is welcome.

Figure Skating Club: The purpose of the Figure Skating Club is to provide a year-round community at Middlebury College for anyone wishing to continue or learn figure skating. The goal is to help participants improve their skills through lessons given by both advanced-level club participants and outside instructors, as well as to provide the opportunity for members to attend other recreational and competitive figure skating events.

Free Heelers (Telemark Skiing):The purpose of this club is to unite telemark skiers on campus, encourage students to experience the magic of free heel skiing, and to organize events based around telemark skiing.

Karate Club

Midd Cheer  (Co-ed Competitive Cheerleading Club):This organization allows students with an interest in gymnastics, cheer, dance, and/ or stunts to learn about or to continue with the sport of cheerleading. The team's purpose will also be to compete against other schools at the collegiate level and to promote school spirit at various Middlebury College sporting events.

MiddFly (Fly Fishing Club ) : This club's purpose is to embrace the sport of fly fishing by helping newcomers and old hands to appreciate Vermont's rivers and streams.

Middlebury Mountain Club (MMC)
:
One of the school's largest organizations on campus, the Mountain Club offers weekly overnight outdoor trips to the student body. Whether it is hiking, rock climbing, canoeing, skiing or snow-shoeing trips, students always have the opportunity to venture off campus into the mountains of Vermont and New York with qualified MMC guides. The club also lends equipment free of charge twice weekly to anyone interested; gear includes sleeping bags, tents, backcountry skis, stoves, trail guides, and backpacks.

Rugby Club (Men's and Women's):  The Rugby Club strives to promote the playing and enjoyment of rugby by both men and women within the Middlebury College community in a safe and competitive environment. Both genders play in fall and spring seasons.

Sailing Club (MCSC): An intercollegiate club sport, the Middlebury College Sailing Club competes in numerous regattas throughout New England in both the fall and the spring seasons. The club is open to sailors of any ability, and will practice on Lake Champlain in 420s.


Ski Patrol:
The Ski Patrol provides the College's Snow Bowl with trained patrol personnel to insure the safety of the area's snow-sport enthusiasts. Membership not only requires exceptional academic achievement in the National Ski Patrol Outdoor Emergency Care course but also requires excellent skiing, snowboarding, or tele-skiing skills. From year to year, we have anywhere from 25 to 30 ski patrollers who volunteer one afternoon during the week and one full weekend day to keep the slopes of the Snow Bowl safe.

Skigå (Nordic Ski Club): This organization encourages community members with all levels of Nordic skiing experience to be athletic in the winter by participating in cross-country skiing, and to provide informal peer-to-peer instruction and possible professional instruction so that all members may improve their techniques.

Triathlon Club: The purpose of this organization is to provide members the opportunity to compete in triathlons, organize small-scale events, and to provide training opportunities for members.

Ultimate Frisbee (Men's and Women's): These clubs exist to provide those interested in the sport of Ultimate Frisbee with an opportunity for intercollegiate competition and instruction.

Volleyball (Men's):  This club aims to offer an option for men to play organized volleyball at a competitive level in an intercollegiate arena.  It also offers instruction and competitive play to those who are interested but have never previously played volleyball.

Water Polo:
This organization provides those interested in water polo with an opportunity to compete in the sport. This is a coed organization open to players of all skill levels. Intercollegiate competition takes place in both the fall and spring. Competition for the fall semester is to be organized by the Eastern Water Polo League, giving new focus and direction to the organization.
