Middlebury Geographic: Middlebury Geographic (go/mg) attempts to reflect and reinforce the college's tradition of international awareness, diversity and critical inquiry. Middlebury Geographic is a biannual publication designed to capture and celebrate the travel experiences, independent research and worldwide adventures of the Middlebury College student body. Inspired by the widely circulated National Geographic and J.B. Jackson's Landscape Magazine, Middlebury Geographic combines quality journalism with narrative photography and creative cartography, in attempt to present geographic concepts to the "intelligent layman," rather than the specialist. Each feature article, each special section, each photo essay is uniquely infused with personality and perspective. At its essence, the student magazine conveys the importance of being aware of our role in the world, of reaching out beyond ourselves, of dreaming ever larger dreams.
