While carrying out Post-Completion Optional Practical Training, your SEVIS record will remain active, and you must maintain your F-1 status by updating your SEVIS record and I-20 with new information, including:

Updating your address in SEVIS within 10 days of the move.
- Getting your I-20 signed every 6 months
- Informing ISSS if your OPT employment comes to an end
- Informing ISSS if you change to another visa status
- Informing ISSS if you wish to transfer your SEVIS record (and I-20) to another school.
