The I-20 is the document you need in order to apply for your F-1 student visa. Below are the documents required to apply for an I-20 from Middlebury College. These documents are included in the March mailing to newly admitted students.

I-20 Application Form
This form must be completed and submitted with the required financial documents to obtain an I-20 from Middlebury College.
SEVIS Transfer Form
This form is for international students in F-1 status who need to transfer their SEVIS record from another U.S. educational institution to Middlebury College. You will need to print and sign the SEVIS Transfer Form and submit it to the International Student Adviser at your current institution who will need to release your record to us. Once the transfer is complete, we will issue a Middlebury College I-20 for you.
Note: You should only use this form if you are completing your studies at your current institution in the Spring/Summer and expect to enroll at Middlebury in the Fall Term (September), or if you will finish at your current institution in December/January and plan to enroll at Middlebury in February.
I-20 Application Cover Letter
Once we issue the I-20, you will receive a letter that provides information about our Applying for an I-20 Form, Travel to Middlebury, and details regarding our Early Arrival program.
