The Office for Institutional Planning and Diversity was established in 2000 (formerly known as The Office for Institutional Diversity). The Office is dedicated to advancing the College's mission to build and maintain a diverse and inclusive community committed to broad educational opportunities within an atmosphere of respect for others. The College's Strategic Plan
The College recently completed a strategic planning process (2006) and is in the process of implementing the recommendations in that report. The Vice President for Institutional Planning and Diversity will play a lead role in insuring progress towards the goals of the plan and the implementation of its recommendations. The Human Relations Committee and HRC Report
Additionally, the VP for Institutional Planning and Diversity will have two resources to assist with setting prorities and identifying both challenges and opportunities. The 1999 HRC Report and the 2006 Report of the Human Relations Committee. Each of these reports note marked improvements in the area of diversity, as well as areas for improvement.
