All new students arriving in September 2008 and February 2009 should complete both of the forms below by June 1, 2008. Hard copies of these forms are available by calling 802-443-3301 or by emailing Karin Hall-Kolts at khall@middlebury.edu .
September arrivals will be notified of their Commons, their housing assignment, their roommate(s) - if applicable, and their campus mailbox number by the start of August; February arrivals will be notified in the later part of January 2009. You will receive a message through your Middlebury email account (which you will be instructed to set up in June), when this information is available for you to access on line.
You may wish to request a specific roommate or residence hall. After years of experience with this, our policy is not to honor such requests. We enjoy matching you with a roommate and generally make successful matches. In those rare instances where we place people together who are incompatible, changes can be accommodated, but we ask you to try living together for one month before requesting a change from your Commons dean.
