Checklist for Success & Well-Being


Academics

•     Attending class regularly.

•     Handing in assignments.

•     Asking questions of classmates or professors to clarify information or expectations.

•     Participating in class discussion.

•     Seeking academic support when needed at Office of Learning Resources.

•     Meeting with advisor early when planning courses.

•     Understanding rules and guidelines for academic honesty.

 

Personal

•     UsingPartonHealthCenterwhen ill or needing health information.

•     Seeking advice or counseling from my Commons Dean, the Center for Counseling and Human relations, Chaplain and/or International  Student Advisor, if I am feeling depressed, confused or anxious for more then a few days.

•     Discussing with my Commons Dean and/or a counselor at the Financial Aid Office, if I am concerned about money and finances,

•     Talking with my Commons Dean or any other Adviser or Counselor if I am having difficulty understanding how to use resources at Middlebury.


Social

•     Talk with a counselor if I am feeling isolated, lonely or mistreated.  Or if I am doing things that feel unhealthy or go against my personal, family or cultural values.
