Planning Tips for International Students
The College recognizes that international students are far from home, and that the planning process may be complicated. Visa requirements, transportation and finances are all additional factors that need to be considered, and the College is working on developing some tools and guidance to help you with your planning process. However, if you can plan for locations and transportation now, we encourage you to do so. For example, while you might at some point leave the United States and return home, it is important to prepare a location where you could reside until you were able to get back to our home country. Your family may know people in the United States that could help you in the short term, or there may be fellow students who would allow you to stay with them temporarily.
