Jeff Stauch graduated with a BA in political science from Middlebury in 2005 and has been back at the College since 2007. Before coming the Director of Annual Giving in May 2013, Jeff served Middlebury as an Assistant Director of Annual Giving (running the Young Alumni Program), a Leadership Gift Officer (covering the Midwest and Texas), and the Assistant Director of Principal Gifts (covering Chicago and London, and coordinating the solicitation of transformational gifts). Jeff oversees all aspects of the Annual Giving operation at Middlebury, from the volunteer program, to 1800 Society solicitations, and anything in between.
Jeff received a Certificate International D'Etudes Politiques from Sciences Po in Paris in 2004. Jeff also received his MA in social science from the University of Chicago in 2006 and attended the Bread Loaf Writer's Conference as a non-fiction auditor in 2009, '10 and '11. He coaches youth hockey with the Middlebury Amateur Hockey Association, teaches and practices the Japanese martial art Aikido, and runs an occasional marathon or ultra-marathon.
