Phil joined the College in 2011 as a member of the Leadership Gifts team covering California, Colorado, and Texas. He also serves as the College Advancement liaison to the sciences.
After graduation in 1990 with a degree in Soviet Studies, Phil moved to the Far East of Russia and began a 20 year career in international relief and development that included assignments in the Balkans, Africa, and Haiti. He has taught a Winter Term course related to his overseas work on financial services for the unbanked in developing economies.
Phil and his wife, Jen, and their children, Fiona and Jess, live on the slopes of Mt. Abe in Lincoln where Phil enjoys long snowy runs and skiing.
