I currently hold a position of Visiting Instructor in Russian at Dickinson College. I taught courses in Russian as a foreign language at the Russian State University for the Humanities. I regularly taught lecture courses in linguistics such as "Introduction to Social Linguistics" and "Linguistic Aspects of Semiotic Studies" and "History of Writing" at Moscow State University for Cultural Studies.

In 2008, I received my Ph.D. (Kandidatskaya) in Linguistics. My dissertation considers socio-cultural differentiation in contemporary Russian. Now, I continue working on my research in various socio-linguistic issues.
