Employee Relations |

Laura Carotenuto |
Manages the employee relations function. Oversees delivery of HR services to College community. Coordinates implementation of HR strategies and programs. Provides explanations and interpretations of Middlebury College policies and procedures and state and federal employment laws as they apply to the College. |
Benefits and Compensation |

Cheryl Mullins |
Manages the College's health & welfare benefit plans, retirement plan, leave policies and programs, and the staff compensation program. as well as the College’s international HR programs. Analyzes and implements process improvement and redesign. HIPAA Compliance Officer. |

Loretta Lee |
Administers the college's retirement plans as well as the medical and dental plans for retirees. Meets with employees regarding retiring from the College. Administers the College's dependent tuition benefit. |

Lisa Hoff |
Administers the College's Health & Welfare Benefits. Meets with employees regarding insurance benefits. |

Perry Richards |
Responsible for administration of the College's staff compensation programs, including job evaluation, Fair Labor Standards Act determination, maintenance of the job description database, and support of the annual merit increase process. |

Petrina teRiele Global HR Specialist |
Day-to-day administration of the College’s international HR processes. Also responsible for maintaining the staff job description website. |

Patty Saunders |
Assists staff and faculty who need time away from work for personal, family, or medical reasons or who have work-related injuries. Administers worker's compensation claims, short- and long-term disability claims, and FMLA leaves. |

Responsible for the development and implementation of employee training and professional development programs. Provides support and resources for continuous learning to promote individual, team and organizational effectiveness. |
Employment |

Ellen Usilton |
Responsible for oversight of staff and student employment. assessment and design of HR employment service models, process automation and improvement, and recruitment system management for Middlebury College and its constituencies. Manages compliance efforts and mandatory employment reporting. As a member of the HR Management Team provides strategic HR leadership in broader service areas. |

Oversees recruitment and staff employment process and assists department and managers with their staffing needs. Liaison for Staff Resource Committee. |
