To the Middlebury College Community:
Public Safety would like to remind everyone of the following information regarding bicycles on campus:
Bicycles on campus should be registered with Public Safety. Registration allows a bicycle to be linked to the registered owner in the event it is recovered after loss or theft.
Bike parking – Bike racks
Bicycles must be secured/parked in the designated bike racks located throughout campus. Securing bicycles in designated racks helps keep areas accessible for everyone.
Please note: walkways, entrances, stairs, railings, ramps, doorways and hallways must remain clear for pedestrians. Bike found in any of these areas will be removed and owners will be fined.
Please report bikes that are interfering with the accessibility of any of the campus buildings.
Any bicycle parked in unauthorized areas left or found attached to other fixtures will be removed and a fine will be assessed when the property is returned to the owner. The link to fine amounts is located below.
Please see complete information regarding bicycles at:
If you have any questions, please contact the Department of Public Safety at firstname.lastname@example.org.
