A national survey conducted by the Department of Justice in 2007 revealed the following: 16% of college women surveyed reported surviving attempted or completed sexual assault before arriving on campus. 4% of college men surveyed reported the same. 26% of senior female college students surveyed reported experiencing attempted or completed sexual assault since entering college. 6% of all male college students surveyed reported the same thing.
