Project Plan

The Project plan takes the Work Break Down structure (WBS) and other inputs like available resources, risks and dependencies to create a linked list of tasks with dates on when they will be completed. It is used to track the work and its progress. The basic steps to accomplish this are:

  • Create the WBS

  • Take those activities and link them together based on dependencies and available resources.

  • Review with the project team and review again.

  • Execute the plan!

  • Update the plan based on changes to scope, execution or issues.

Below is an example Project Template for a simple project. One should modify the project template based on their own project needs.
