These trips are a great opportunity for students to meet and speak with people who may hold similar or very different social views than your own.

Funded by generous friends of the College, these trips (offered every other year) provide an immersive multiday experience engaging political and social diversity. We will be planning our next trip when the pandemic allows for travel; stay tuned for details!

2019 Trip to Washington DC: Impacting Social Policy in Changing Times

March 23–March 30, 2019

The group met with representatives from a wide range of both faith-based and secular NGO’s across the political spectrum. Our goal was to look at how policy is formed and influenced, particularly in the area of economic justice.
