Gus Jordan has been at Middlebury since 1996. He oversees the work of health services, counseling services, sports medicine, and the office of health and wellness, and teaches clinically oriented courses in the department of psychology.
Gus is a licensed psychologist in the State of Vermont and has published on topics ranging from academic dishonesty and professional ethics to family structure and its relation to depression in children. He received his B.A. in psychology from Emory University, his M.Div. from Yale University and his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Notre Dame.
Gus lives in Middlebury with his wife Laurie, who serves as chaplain of the College. They have three grown children.
