Join a Committee

Ever wonder who picks the Free Friday Films? Who organizes the eighties dance party? Who keeps Winter Carnival alive?

We do.

We are the Middlebury College Activities Board (MCAB), and we are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated members with fresh ideas to join our programming board. As long as you've been a student for one semester, you are eligible to apply to a committee. MCAB is made up of five different sub-committees. Each committee has at least one chair and 7-15 members. Click below for descriptions of each committee:

Applications will be posted here when ready. The process, which occurs at the beginning of each semester, includes an application and a brief interview.

A Note on Joining MCAB's Executive Board:

MCAB's executive board is made up of committee chairs, commons co-chairs, and a president. Anyone is eligible to apply (in late March) to be the chair of a MCAB committee, although residential life staff, commons co-chairs, and MCAB members are preferred. The process includes an application and a brief interview. The selection committee is made up of current exec board members that are not returning the following year.
