Middlebury College Activities Board (MCAB)
MCAB is the primary programmer of social activities.
Middkids work hard all week; MCAB works hard all weekend. Thursday through Saturday, we provide the Middlebury community with a diverse set of entertaining events, from concerts to comedy shows, from Free Friday Films to big speakers.
MCAB is made up of five student-run committees:
We believe every Middlebury student has a say in activity programming. What artist should come for our spring concert? Which speaker would you want to hear? Bingo or karaoke? Drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. Better yet, join a committee and have your say.

What does MCAB have planned for this weekend?
Why join MCAB?
You should join MCAB because it's fun. There are perks. If you work an event, you get free admission, a "crew" t-shirt, and you might even get to hang out with some celebrities.
Moreover, you should join MCAB because you get to shape Middlebury. Your friends will be the ones asking you about what bands are coming and how to buy tickets to the semi-formal. You’ll have a great set of organizational and leadership skills, but best of all, you'll always be in the know.
At the beginning of each semester, applications for MCAB will be sent out to the entire student body via email. To be on MCAB requires an application and interview, and we are looking for enthusiastic and energetic members.
Can MCAB help my student organization?
Student organizations should first go to the SGA Finance Committee for funding. MCAB can ask a student org to co-sponsor an event, but a group can should not come to MCAB in search of funds.
Don't need funding for your event? Email email@example.com to see how to get your event programmed.
Can I come perform at Middlebury College?
We love hearing about new performers, bands, and acts. We have a number of venues to perform in, too.
How much money does MCAB have?
The majority of MCAB’s budget is allocated by the SGA Finance Committee, but some support comes directly from the College. Each year the budget changes a bit.
A concert and a comedian can vary drastically in price. A show in McCullough can be way cheaper than a show in Kenyon. Hence, MCAB’ers must work within a budget and continue to provide for Middlebury students.
