The capacity of social and meeting areas is determined annually by the College Safety Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator. Capacity limits for social events vary greatly by location and type of function. The number of occupants for any function shall not exceed the indicated loads. Fixed seating capacity of an area having fixed seats shall be determined by the number of fixed seats installed. Required aisle space serving the fixed seats shall not be used to increase seating capacity (for example, a theater). You may not add additional chairs to these areas.
