On-Line Junior/Seniors Room Draw Spaces

NOTICES PERTAINING TO SPECIFIC PROPERTIES:

†Gifford Suites A and B - Room Draw awards are for Fall and Winter ONLY.  Residential Systems Coordinator, Karin Hall-Kolts will work with any resident remaining on campus in the Spring to rehouse them.

♦Spaces near local communities: Be aware, all students who reside within the Middlebury Community are expected to be good representatives of the College and be respectful of the needs of their neighbors.  Failure to do so may result in official College sanctions up to and including loss of the space and rehousing.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

The information posted is not cast in stone; sometimes last minute changes need to be made.  The purpose of this information is to assist students in making plans but it is important to be flexible.

Submit applications for a number of choices; DO NOT fall prey to the "we don't have a chance" syndrome.  However, be realistic.  In other words, do not put all your eggs in one basket.

Assignments are final so DO NOT submit applications for spaces for which you/your group are not interested.  Carefully check the confirmation email received after submitting an application and if need be have your group rep delete the application and resubmit.  It is a student's responsibility to check their applications for accuracy.

Individual rooms blocked for Room Draw purposes do not continue to be blocked following the end of Room Draw.  This means that groups that have friends leave a block do not necessarily have the option of filling the bed(s) themselves.

Groups in suites/houses are expected to promptly fill their empty bed(s) if a minority of the members of the original group move out, i.e. at the end of a term.  When the majority of a group leaves it is left to the discretion of the Residential Systems Coordinator as to how to fill the suite/house which may require rehousing any remaining group members.
