Goals for the Middlebury Initiative
To establish Middlebury as a global liberal arts institution while strengthening its core mission as an undergraduate liberal arts college, the College seeks to raise $500 million during the Middlebury Initiative in four key areas: access and opportunity, teaching and mentoring, programs and infrastructure, and institutional flexibility. In addition, Middlebury has identified the Middlebury Green Fund and the Middlebury International Education Funds as high priorities during the initiative.
