The 40-year-old Worth Mountain chairlift at the Middlebury College Snow Bowl needs to be replaced.
For decades, alumni, parents, and friends have helped Middlebury College keep the Snow Bowl open and up to date. Over the past 25 years, donors have helped to build the Sheehan Chairlift, install snowmaking equipment, and renovate the Starr Shelter.

Today, alumni and members of the local community have a new opportunity to ensure that the next generation of children and students will be able to experience the joys of winter at the Snow Bowl. The College seeks to raise $1.7 million to replace the 40-year-old Worth Mountain chairlift, which follows the Allen Trail to the summit.
