Environmental activist, author and journalist Bill McKibben accepted the inaugural Sam Rose '58 and Julie Walters Prize at Dickinson College for Global Environmental Activism. McKibben received the $100,000 prize at Dickinson's Commencement on Sunday, May 20.

Hilary Platt '12.5 has been selected as one of the nation's top rising young leaders in the clean energy sector by national organization Focus the Nation. Twenty students from across the country have been selected for their dedication, passion, and unique contribution to increasing clean energy in America. They will meet for one week on Oregon's Mt.
