Students Morgan Raith '16.5 and Sage Taber '16, along with campus horticulturalist Tim Parsons, designed and installed a native rain garden outside of the Franklin Environmental Center at Hillcrest to help with stormwater management.

The Green Panther Challenge hosted its first Perfect Sort Gameday at Saturday's Homecoming football game. Student athlete volunteers helped fans properly sort waste into recycling, compost and landfill bins.

Middlebury selected for Solar Decathlon 2011

The U.S. Department of Energy announced on April 15 that Middlebury College has been selected to participate in Solar Decathlon 2011, in which 20 teams of college and university students will compete to design and build an energy-efficient solar-powered house. Read more in The Campus and MiddMag.
