Formerly Davison Library.
The Davison Memorial Library supports the Bread Loaf School of English and the Bread Loaf Writers' Conferences each summer. It houses a small book collection (4,000 titles) of English and and American literature with supporting materials. As a part of Middlebury's online library systems, it links to all the collections and online resources offered by the Library and Information Technology Services at Middlebury College.
Davison provides a quiet place to study in a quaint summer camp atmosphere while the people, systems, resources, and collections of a noted academic library are readily at hand. Bread Loaf students, wherever they are, can access library resources that support their work during the period that they are enrolled.
At Davison, students and faculty will find reserve readings in print or electronic format, courier and Interlibrary Loan delivery of research materials, and assistance in finding and using online and print resources.
