Does the Sponsored Research Office prepare my grant reports?

No. You are responsible for preparing and submitting all narrative, technical, and annual reports and for meeting the deadlines for those reports. Give the SRO a copy, including any related correspondence. Reports and correspondence related to institutional grants go to CFR.

Faculty Grants

A strong indicator of the merit of the research conducted by Middlebury faculty is their success in securing external research funding. The Sponsored Research Office celebrates this success by publishing news of all awards in MiddPoints and on this website.

Monitoring Expenses and Managing Your Grant

As PI/PD, you are the sole budget administrator for your grant and must authorize all expenditures posted to it. Only your signature is needed on vouchers or requisitions. Reimbursements to you must be signed by your supervisor or the Grants Accounting Office.
