J. College Storage Policies and Procedures
1. Storage during the regular academic year for students enrolled in the undergraduate College:
a. Regular dormitory storage (trunks, suitcases, boxed items).
i. Resident assistants in each dormitory have keys to the storage areas and will give residents access upon request.
ii. At the end of the school year, Facilities Services staff will clean out these storage areas and will dispose of any items not removed by students.
Bike Lock Removal
Public Safety Officers can remove bike locks upon request, unless it is a kryptonite lock. Proof of ownership for unregistered bicycles will be required.
Bicycle Information
Students, faculty and staff that use bicycles on campus are required to register their bicycles with the Department of Public Safety. The owner completes registration online and then is issued a Middlebury College decal with a license number on it. The owner then affixes this decal to the bicycle under the seat post.
