Brad, along with Pete (Heimbold) Francis '99, and Chad Urmston '98, started and plays in the band Dispatch, which has enjoyed great popularity, and is now back together for another tour (August and September, 2011).
Dispatch incorporates many different styles into their music. These include reggae (Passerby, Ride a Tear), ska (Bats in the Belfry), folk (Craze, The General), rap (Just Like Larry, Here We Go) and rock (Even, Time Served). The band consists of Brad Corrigan (vocals, drums, guitar, and percussion), Pete Heimbold (vocals, bass and guitar), and Chad Urmston (vocals, bass, guitar, and percussion).
Brad is the founder of Love, Light, and Melody, an organization that provides a safe house offering refuge to some of the children from La Chureca, a trash dump community in Managua, Nicaragua. This trash dump is home to countless children fighting to survive an unthinkable landscape of burning trash, physical and sexual abuse, and starvation.
